Workplace Basic Education

This service provides courses for people in the workplace and training schemes in Co. Waterford in communications, reading, writing, maths and computer use.

Return to Learning: We work in partnership with the Local Authority to offer employees the opportunity of attending adult basic education courses during working hours.

Return to Education: We work in partnership with FÁS to offer participants of the Community Employment (CE) schemes the opportunity to attend adult basic education courses as part of their training.

Skills for Work: Skills for Work is aimed at providing training opportunities to help employees deal with the basic skills demands of the workplace. All programmes are aimed at employees with basic education needs including literacy and numeracy, in particular employees with, or less than junior cycle qualifications.
